Meeting Monday
Our first meeting of the semester will be THIS MONDAY, at 4:00pm, in Hill University Center room 412. We are going to have meetings every other week, and alternate between Mondays at 4:00, and Thursdays at 6:00pm. As always, there will be food (thanks to the USGA!), and everyone is welcome!

Dan Choi Tonight
Don't forget to come to see Lt. Dan Choi at HUC Alumni Auditorium TONIGHT AT 8:00. BRING FRIENDS, this is a huge deal and we need to show UAB that there is a demand for this type of programming, as well as show Dan Choi our respect by packing the house!!!

Announcement!
It is with a sad heart that I announce that Whitney Julian has stepped down as V.P. of the GSSA. Whitney contributed a tremendous amount of hard work and enthusiasm to the GSSA, and I consider her to be one of the most important change agents at UAB in 2011.
The Executive Board of the GSSA unanimously voted to promote Bri Bruce to the position as our new VP. Bri Bruce is a long time member of the executive board. We are so excited to have Bri as the VP, she has shown with her actions over the last year, to be committed, enthusiastic and extremely competent. If you have a chance, congratulate her (or give her your sympathy, as you see fit.)
